Who Owns Your Published Paper

Many journals ask authors to sign away their copyright as a condition of publication. IJRTI deliberately does not follow that model. Copyright in your work belongs to you before, during and after publication.

  • Authors hold copyright of their own published work at all times — copyright is never transferred to IJRTI
  • IJRTI is granted a non-exclusive right to publish, host and archive the article under the CC BY 4.0 licence
  • There is no copyright transfer form to sign at any stage of submission or publication
  • Authors may deposit their published paper in an institutional repository, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or a personal site immediately, with no embargo

🌐What the CC BY 4.0 Licence Means in Practice

  • Anyone may read, download and share the full text of your paper, free of charge, permanently
  • Anyone may reuse, remix or build on your work — including commercially — provided they credit you and link to the licence
  • You may reuse your own figures, tables and text from the published article in later work, citing the original
  • Your published article is never marked "all rights reserved" — that phrasing is incompatible with genuine open access and IJRTI never uses it

While authors hold copyright of their individual articles, the IJRTI journal name, logo, ISSN and website design remain the property of Journey & Wisdom Publications. Unauthorised commercial reproduction of the journal's own branding or site content is not permitted.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a published IJRTI article without permission, contact the editorial team at editor@ijrti.org. Confirmed violations are handled under IJRTI's Copyright Infringement Claims process, which may result in a correction or formal retraction.
