In this study, the four different shaped (Square, Rectangle Hollow-core, T-shape, U-shape) G+9 storey RCC frame building is been analyzed by STAAD.Pro.V8i (Series 6) for seismic Zone –II, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Also, the objective of this study carried out through response spectrum analysis (RSA) for four different shaped RCC frame building by considering equal physical properties such as built-up area, beam size, column size, load calculations, seismic parameters & material specifications etc. and making each frame economical . The comparison between various seismic parameters would allow us to propose the best efficient building on the existing conditions. The research study is all about the Seismic Analysis of different shapes of RCC Frame building by varying column size (external & internal ) as well as beam sizes (in floors) and solving the problem of maximum displaced building by some retrofitting remedies. More specifically, the salient objectives of this project are: To compare the seismic parameters such as story displacement, compressive stress of all frames and, To improve the structure by providing different retrofitting’s in ideal location.
