Abstract: Abstract: Women have always aimed and strived for equal status in society. According to SDG 5, gender equality is a key component of human rights and a requirement for democracy. A world that is peaceful, affluent, and sustainable must be built on the principle of equality. From conventional to digital media, today's media continues to significantly impact our thoughts and notions about the representation of girls and women in life. The media profoundly affects how people establish their gender expression, societal norms, and beliefs. The gender equality progressive movement is picking up speed all around the world. The media's rise has also played a critical part in giving women a forum or digital space to express their thoughts, voice their concerns, and fight for equal rights. This study aims to analyze the contribution of print media is playing a key role as a facilitator in bringing gender equality. Furthermore, if media intervention helps raise public awareness regarding women-centric problems, and its efficiency in promoting gender equality both online and offline. This research study examines the comparative analysis done for the print media(The Hindu and The Times of India), and furthermore, content analysis was conducted for the broadcasting media (Movies). This research aims to understand and capture the influence of Indian media holistically in the day-to-day life of women users.
