Abstract: The usage of Artificial Intelligence in pharmaceutical technology has grown over time, and it now helps us comprehend the correlations between various formulations and process parameters while also saving time and money. In this review, we focus on application of AI in various areas of the pharmaceutical industry, such as drug discovery and development, drug repurposing, increasing pharmaceutical productivity, and clinical trials, among others; this use lessens the workload for humans while also achieving goals quickly. Additionally, this paper thoroughly examines the current state and potential applications of artificial intelligence in the pharmaceutical sciences, paying particular focus to pharmaceutical industry. Al, however, is the pharmaceutical industry's wave of the future. Artificial intelligence may reduce expenses, provide novel, efficient therapies, and most importantly, it can help save lives. Therefore, biotech companies should start utilizing Al's benefits as soon as possible. We could produce medications more quickly and cheaply by utilizing the capabilities of contemporary supercomputers and machine learning. The literature has been gathered from websites linked to this industry as well as Pubmed, Google Scholar. Future commercial applications of Al in the pharmaceutical business have received more attention. In conclusion, human clinical experts will need to adapt, learn, and develop along with technological advancements in order to coexist with machines in the future. A new initiative to create computational models of intelligence is centred on AI.
