Rice husk ash is a material wasted from processing rice into rice in a rice mill, which is not used for further processing. As a waste material for processing milling plants, rice husk ash is an alternative additive that can be used as a cement substitute. This study aims to determine the chemical compounds content and differences in chemical compounds found in rice husk ash from the South Sulawesi region (Gowa, Soppeng, and Pangkep Regencies), as well as to determine whether rice husk ash originates from the southern Sulawesi region (Gowa, Soppeng, and Pangkep Regencies) can be used as a substitute for cement. The results showed that the three samples of rice husk ash (RHA) indicated that three RHA were reactive, containing chemical levels of SiO2 Tridymite. This RHA is stated as pure RHA by burning in a furnace at 850ºC, and it is said that RHA can be used as an alternative to cement.
