In the global order the USA used to enjoy the status of a hegemon for a long period time. Gradually challenges are coming up in the path of US hegemony. China which is always in a position to give tough competition to the US gets a good opportunity to increase its influence in the world during the recent pandemic. The pandemic triggered a geopolitical debate about the hegemon of the world. |
