Battery plays a very important role in storing energy in the form of electricity and provides electric supply when required. All the electric vehicles required a battery system to run the vehicle. Blade battery technology brought revolution in the field of electric vehicles and various energy conservation areas. Many of the tests were performed to measure the blade battery safety such as NPT test, heavy weight test, heating in furnace test and overcharging test. In the NPT test it is noticed that there is no voltage drop in the blade battery after the test. During the heavy weight test, it results that there is no structural change, no fire and explosion occurred. After comparing the blade battery with other EV batteries, it is concluded that blade battery is the safest battery for electric vehicle in the current scenario.
