Conservation of breadfruit plants can control environmental damage, maintain the availability of food sources, have economic value, and improve public health status. This study aims to (1) determine the effect of independent variables, which include farmers’ knowledge about dry agricultural ecosystems, terracing, conservation, farming, breadfruit cultivation, the value of breadfruit benefits and the environment, motivation of farmers to maintain dry agricultural land and preserve breadfruit plants, attitudes towards the preservation of dry agricultural land and breadfruit plants, concern for the preservation of dry agricultural land, environmental commitment, locus of control, and local wisdom towards the behaviour of upland farmers in the conservation of breadfruit plants as control of environmental damage, (2) Finding a model of the behaviour of upland farmers in crop conservation breadfruit if the five independent variables will be studied by the authorities simultaneously and if one primary variable will be studied. This study used correlational research where the research area was selected by purposive sampling with a sample of 210 moor farmers in South Sulawesi. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and knowledge tests whose results were analyzed using the inferential statistics of the Step Wise multiple regression model. It was found that the independent variables had a positive and significant effect both individually and collectively on increasing the behaviour of upland farmers in the conservation of breadfruit plants. The determining variables are concern for dry agricultural land, knowledge about dry agricultural ecosystems, environmental commitment, attitudes towards preserving dry agricultural land and knowledge about the benefits of breadfruit.
