Aqueous extract of cassia fistula (linn) flower was screened for its antidiabetic effect in alloxan induced diabetic rats. Cassia fistula linn ( Leguminosae) similar as petroleum ether ,chloroform , acetone ,ethanol ,waterless ,and crude waterless extract and two fragments of ethanol extract were tested for anti hyperglycemic extraction in glucose overfilled hyperglycemic rats . the effectively antihyperglycemic extract and fraction were tested for their hypoglycemic activity at two dose level 200 and 400mg/kg respectively .
