In this work zinc doped hydrolyzed chitosan has been synthesized and characterized for its application in wheat seedling grown in vitro in micro-glasshouse experiment, Zn-doped hydrolyzed chitosan was prepared by using two step method in which firstly hydrolyzed chitosan was obtained and further in second step zinc doping was done. Synthesized Zn-doped hydrolyzed chitosan is used for seed treatment and foliar application in side the micro-glasshouse experiment. Further after experiment we observed that plant treated with Zn-doped hydrolyzed chitosan showed significant growth promotery effect in term of physical and biochemical aspects which shows its further potential application in agriculture filed.
