Abstract: The current study proposed an Ant Colony ideal (ACO) ideal strategy for frequency load management to optimize the performance of the Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) gain controller settings. As a consequence, the oscillations in the power system response were controlled. It was investigated a system with three equal heat producing units and a (PID) controller. The PID controller gain values are calculated using the Integral Square Error (ISE), Integral Temporal Absolute Error (ITAE), and Integral Absolute Error (IAE). The time domain characteristics of the settling period and overshoot were measured in the system response examination.
