Abstract: The fascinating field of artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare signifies an important shift in how we approach healthcare administration, research, and delivery. AI technologies have progressed to the point where they are actively being used in the healthcare sector and are no longer restricted to use in research labs. These abstract addresses some of the major consequences of the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The importance of AI in medical imaging cannot be emphasized. In tasks like image processing, technology has surpassed human capabilities, enabling faster and more precise detection of anomalies in MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays. This translates into earlier cancer diagnoses, which improves survival rates and allows for more prompt therapies. AI is being used by radiologists and other medical professionals more and more as a vital tool for precise and effective healthcare delivery. A groundbreaking paradigm shift that affects the fields of medicine and healthcare delivery is represented by the convergence of intelligent machines (AI) and healthcare. An overview of the main ideas, uses cases, and consequences of machine learning in healthcare can be found in this abstract. Medical imaging analysis, robotic-assisted surgery, natural language processing, and predictive analytics are just a few of the many uses of AI in the healthcare industry. These apps have the power to completely transform patient care, diagnosis, and treatment. AI-powered predictive analytics may anticipate patient readmissions, illness patterns, and possibly identify high-risk patients. Healthcare providers might lower healthcare costs and improve patient care by employing wearables, electronic health records, and other patient data sources to make better choices and forward resources with greater efficiency. The way medical practitioners interact with patient records and medical literature is changing due to the advancements in natural language processing. Patterns, trends, and pertinent information can be more easily found in unstructured clinical notes thanks to AI-driven natural language processing. Research projects and healthcare decision-making may benefit from this. Another AI use that is gaining popularity is robotic-assisted surgery. Artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled robots can help surgeons carry out difficult operations more precisely and controllably. This reduces the possibility of human error and makes less invasive surgeries possible, which shortens the recuperation period for patients. But there are also a number of obstacles to overcome in the integration of AI in healthcare, such as worries about data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the requirement for regulatory monitoring. It is crucial for the healthcare sector to develop strong guidelines to address ethical concerns about the use of AI in decision-making and patient care. In a nutshell the way AI and healthcare interact is changing how medicine is practised. While AI presents many opportunities to enhance patient care, diagnosis, and treatment, it also presents a number of ethical, legal, and technical concerns that must be addressed in a proactive manner. In order to benefit patients and healthcare professionals alike, the healthcare industry must adapt as AI develops and realise its full potential.
