Integral transformations are essential tools for resolving differential equations and examining intricate functions in many areas of mathematics and engineering. The Fourier transform, a basic integral transform used extensively in communication theory, signal processing, and other domains, is the subject of this research. The study covers the fundamentals of mathematics, important characteristics, and real-world uses for the Fourier transform.
The paper starts out by outlining the fundamental ideas of integral transformations and emphasising how important they are for converting functions across different domains. The Fourier transform, which transforms a function from the temporal or spatial domain into the frequency domain, is highlighted. The definition, inversion formula, and convergence conditions of the Fourier transform are examined together with its mathematical representation.
