| Abstract: | Abstract: This study delves into the critical exploration of enhancing information search strategies among library users in Nigeria through the prism of information literacy. It investigates the current scenario of information access, usage patterns, and the challenges faced by patrons within Nigerian libraries. Emphasis is placed on the pivotal role of information literacy in augmenting users' proficiency in navigating diverse information resources. The study aims to propose strategies and interventions to empower users, foster effective information retrieval, and ultimately enhance the overall user experience in Nigerian libraries.
