Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the major global health threats leading to morbidity and mortality. Despite the fact that tubercle bacilli were discovered almost 130 years ago, the pathophysiology of this illness is still not completely understood. Drug-resistant TB treatment outcomes are still subpar and inadequate reporting is a persistent problem Background. Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious public health problem that affects millions of people worldwide. The aim of the study is to access knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors on tuberculosis among future healthcare leaders - Pharmacy and Nursing students. Methods. The study was conducted among healthcare students, utilizing a structured questionnaire electronically as Google form. Data were collected through a self- administered questionnaire. Results. The majority of healthcare students identified Bacteria as the cause of TB, while a portion attributed it to viruses (23.6%) and fungi (5.1%). After the video presentation given to the participants, 79.7% of them identified TB as a cause of the disease. In terms of preventive measures, the majority chose the BCG Vaccine (67.9%), followed by MMR (18.7%), and HPV (13.5%). The post-study report further highlighted that 85.8% of participants correctly identified the lung as the most affected organ in TB patients. Conclusions. This study has provided valuable insights into the knowledge, attitude, and practices of healthcare providers regarding TB. Health education programs on TB need to be customized for specific communities, placing a particular emphasis on the youth, the illiterate, and the impoverished.
