This study aims to investigate the correlation between self-concept and the academic achievement of student-teachers enrolled in colleges of education. Utilizing a descriptive survey design, a sample of 100 student-teachers was randomly selected from various Teacher Education Colleges affiliated with Davangere University, ensuring a balanced representation based on gender, locality, and academic stream. The research tool, developed by Dr. K P Nimbalkar, was employed to assess self-concept. The study specifically focuses on exploring the relationship between self-concept and academic performance within the context of the B.Ed. Program. Employing a descriptive survey method, the research was conducted on a diverse sample of 100 student-teachers, with academic achievement assessed using tools developed and validated by a research scholar. Statistical techniques, including mean, standard deviation, and the product-moment correlation coefficient, were applied to analyze the gathered data.
