Abstract
In recent years researchers focused on the novel drug delivery. Because, the conventional dosage forms are not suitable for the drugs which are low solubility, low bioavailability and low permeability. To overcome those problems scientists focused on novel drug therapies. Various formulations are discovered such as, liposomes, niosomes, nanoparticles, etc., but these formulation also has some drawback such as flexibility or deformability. So researchers discovered some new system such as spanlastics released in 2011. Which has less side effects. They are elastic in nature and entrap drug in the core. Nanospanlastics are named because the vesicles of the spanlastics are nanosized and deliver the drug at targeted site and increase the bioavailability of low solubility drug which are stable than other formulations like liposomes, niosomes, nanoparticles.
