The project’s goal is to create a fully autonomous robotic assistant that is designed to assist various departments in a college setting. There is an RC base integrated with a Raspberry Pi, motors, and sensors which allow the robot to move around by itself. The robot has a face recognition camera that scans faculty members and recognizing them activates a TTS Chatbot. Furthermore, the robot is provided with an event organizer system through which faculty can set events and the robot will remind them of the events by an interactive screen. Automation is smooth as the systems of face recognition, chatbot and event scheduling are integrated over the internet. This robot improves the working conditions in departments by performing routine and interactive operations.
