| Abstract: | Quality assessment and accreditation of the higher educational institutions of India is the prime concern in recent decades in the global wave academic excellence. The vital body that ensures quality has been in India is the National Assessment and Accreditation council (NAAC). NAAC assesses the performance of Higher Education Institutions in India on different parameters like curricular aspects, teaching and learning, research, infrastructure, student support and progression, Governance and leadership, institutional values and best practices etc. In this study an effort is made to analyse the NAAC status of government provincialized colleges of Assam affiliated to Dibrugarh University with special reference to Jorhat district. |
