Abstract: - In this work, a novel mixed order reduction technique has been proposed using Honey Badger Algorithm (HBA) and Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm (AOA). The denominator of the reduced system is estimated using HBA and the numerator of the reduced system using AOA. Two systems have been tested by the Proposed mixed technique. A comparison of Step Response and frequency response has been presented along with the existing methods. Comparison of Performance Indices and Transient Parameters have been also presented in Tabular form along with the existing techniques. The reduced system using Proposed mixed technique renders excellent close approximation to the HOS than existing techniques.
