In recent years, the logistics and delivery sector has grown tremendously due to the high demand for e -commerce and the customer for faster deliveries. However, ideal route management is a critical issue for companies, especially when they need to deal with traffic, weather, fuel prices and critical time deliveries. Live updates and environmental conditions are rarely taken into consideration by conventional delivery planning techniques, resulting in longer delivery times and increased expenses.
This research paper focuses on using simple but smart technologies to solve these problems by optimizing delivery routes. We explore the use of real-time traffic data, GPS systems, weather information, and basic algorithms like Dijkstra’s and A* to calculate the best possible delivery paths. We also include learning systems that improve over time based on past delivery experiences. The goal is to help logistics companies improve their delivery performance, reduce fuel usage, save time, and increase customer satisfaction using affordable and easy-to-implement solutions. The proposed model is ideal for both small startups and large logistic firms aiming to enhance their operations.
