Aloe vera is a medicinal plant widely recognized for its therapeutic properties, including anti- inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and wound-healing effects. The present project focuses on the extraction, formulation, and evaluation of Aloe vera gel for medical applications. Fresh Aloe vera leaves were processed to obtain clear inner gel, which was
then stabilized using natural preservatives to maintain its bioactive components. The formulated gel was tested for key parameters such as pH, viscosity, spreadability, microbial load, and phytochemical content. The results demonstrated that the Aloe vera gel retained significant medicinal properties, making it suitable for topical applications such as wound healing, burn relief, and skin hydration. This study highlights the potential of Aloe vera as a natural, safe, and cost-effective alternative to synthetic medical formulations, supporting its continued use in pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
