In recent years, ultra-efficient liquid chromatography (UPLC) has gained particular popularity due to the possibility of faster separation of small molecules. This technique, used to separate the ingredients present in multi-component mixtures, has found application in many fields, such as chemistry, pharmacy, food, and biochemistry. It is an important tool in both research and production. UPLC created new possibilities for analytical separation without reducing the quality of the obtained results. UPLC (Ultra performance liquid chromatography), modern technique in liquid chromatography. It improves in three areas- Chromatographic resolution, speed and sensitivity analysis. It uses fine particles and saves time also reduces solvent consumption separation on UPLC is performed under very high pressure (up to 100mpa) using sub-2 mm particles and mobile phase at high linear velocity. The underlying principle of UPLC is based on van Deemter statement which describes the connection between linear velocity with plate height.
