Abstract: Education is our fundamental right. Society and nation are improved through education. Therefore, the structure of education is very crucial. Accordingly, the policy is changed with time and demand. NEP 2020 is based on the fundamental pillars of access,equity Affordability and Accountability. NEP is focused on bringing out the students’ individual talents. The NEP is emphasized on education of the schools and colleges and universities education and making it more holistic,flexible,multidisciplinary and appropriate for the need of the 21st century. It focuses on making education accessible to everyone and elevating socially and economically disadvantaged groups. The present researcher analyzed the Background and major principles of NEP-2020. Researcher is discussing the Structural Transformations in New Education Policy-2020.The researcher explores the theoretically the challenges & opportunities in NEP 2020. he was used qualitative data such as primary sources as NEP-2020 by Government of India (MHRD) and secondary sources of data as journals,magazines,research articles,other publications etc.
