Water is essential for plant growth, but traditional manual watering methods are inefficient and often lead to water wastage or inconsistent hydration. This project presents an Automated Plant Watering System designed using Arduino Uno, a Soil Moisture Sensor, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. The system automatically detects the soil’s moisture level and activates a water pump when required, ensuring precise irrigation. The integration of IoT allows for real-time monitoring and control through smartphones, making the system suitable for smart farming, home gardening, and commercial plant setups. The solution is cost-effective, energy-efficient, and promotes sustainable agriculture by reducing water usage and minimizing human intervention.
