Abstract: The Online Crime Report is a web-based application designed to simplify crime reporting and enhance public safety. It allows citizens to lodge complaints, report missing persons, track stolen vehicles, identify snatchers, and view most wanted or unidentified persons. Users can log in securely and connect to the server in real-time, enabling multiple clients to access the system simultaneously. The platform also provides a messaging system for communication between users and authorities. By enabling online reporting, it reduces the need for citizens to visit police stations, saving time and resources. This system helps the police department monitor, manage, and respond to criminal activities more efficiently, making it user-friendly, interactive, and accessible to everyone. The system ensures secure storage of sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality and integrity. With its scalable architecture, the application can handle a growing number of users and expanding crime records. The platform’s user-friendly interface ensures that even non-technical users can report incidents easily. Overall, this project bridges the gap between citizens and law enforcement, promoting a safer community and improving the efficiency of crime management processes.
