A detailed review of waste heat recovery systems used in power generation units and utility of heat from other sources like cement, internal combustion engines, paper, chemical industries were been discussed . Flow diagrams of utilization of waste heat recovery system, conventional and cogeneration power utility systems have been drawn. Supercritical Carbon Dioxide cycle , Gasification and internal combustion engine coupled to an organic rankine cycle from biomass, heat recovery system with organic rankine cycle in cement industry, organic rankine cycle heat recovery in PEM fuel cell, and air conditioning integrated Hot water system have been discussed .
