Abstract: A bridge is a structure having an aggregate length over 6m between the inward face of the earth dividers for conveying movement or other moving burdens over a misery or block, for example, channel, street or railroad. They are delegated minor or real extensions according to the criteria given beneath. The design of a Highway bridge is critically dependant on standards and criteria for the safety, quality and overall cost of the project. Box girder bridges are terribly unremarkably used. The box beam ordinarily includes of pre-stressed concrete, steel or steel concrete. Various software's can be used for the Analysis and design of bridges which will be much better and less time consuming compared to manual calculations. This project discusses the Analysis of Box girder bridges under AASHTO loading of two different types Single1cell and Multi cell with AASHTO standard codes followed superstructures subjected to load of heavy vehicles to know its structural behaviour and to decide which section is better when comparing the results in determining the economical section in all aspects for the assumed problem statement. Also to know about the modelling pattern using CSi bridge and to know the structural behaviour1considering the bridge object responses and horizontal moments of both single cell and multi cell box girders under AASHTO loading conditions.
Keywords: Box Girder, Single Cell, Multi Cell, AASHTO loading and CSi Bridge.
