— The paper presents an experimental study on the heat transfer rate, nusselt number and heat transfer coefficient of solar air channel fitted with discretized broken V-pattern baffle on the heated plate. Experiments have been carried out for system parameter such as a relative gap width , relative baffle height , relative pitch ratio and angle of attack . It has been found that heat transfer rate of broken multi type V-baffles air channel is better than the heat transfer rate of smooth surface air channel.
