- This study summarizes the knowledge in the dynamic analysis of sloped buildings. The seismic response of the building on slopes has been discussed. The structures arranged in sloped regions are substantially more inclined to seismic condition comparatively structures situated in same level. Structures on slopes are more risky from alternative buildings since they are irregular vertically as well as horizontally therefore torsional coupled formed and are prone to sever injury once subjected to seismic action. The columns of ground floor have varied height of columns because of sloping ground. The economic growth and urbanization in hilly areas has accelerated the development as per real estate concern. Because of which, rapidly increase of population density in hilly area is noted. Therefore, construction of multistory buildings for commercial and residential use on hill slope in and around the cities is popular in demand because of its fresh view. For construction purposes traditional materials like , brunt bricks , stone masonry and dressed stone masonry, timber reinforced concrete, bamboo, etc., will be used as this are locally available which is aesthetic and cost effective as well as available at time.
