Paper Title:
A novel study of antidiabetic study using ethanolic extracts of Terminalia coriacea fruits and Epipremnum pinnatum leaves in alloxan induced rat models.
During the preliminary phytochemical analysis, bioactive components such as flavanoids, sterols, terpenoids and pentolinium compounds were discovered in Terminalia coriacea natural product and Epipremnum pinnatum leaf. Selected home-grown medicinal products may be developed into a suitable hypoglycemia measurement. The aggregate extricates were basically more operational than the extricated individual. This is usually inferior to the synergistic effect of the extracts. Group 4(alloxan150mg/kg i.p + Ethanolic extract of Terminalia coriacea fruit 200mg/kg p.o) & Group 6(Alloxan 150mg/kg i. p+ Ethanolic extract of Epipremnum pinnatum leaf 200mg/kg p.o) shows safety and Group 5(Alloxan 150mg/kg i.p + Ethanolic extract of Terminalia coriacea fruits 400mg/kg p.o) & Group 7(Alloxan 150mg/kg i.p +Ethanolic extract of Epipremnum pinnatum leaves400mg/kg p.o) shows efficacy, group 8 shows both safety and efficacy in rats. The formulation possessed significant activity than the individual extracts. This may be due to the synergistic effect of the combined extracts. (Poly herbal extracts). Thus, the findings of this thinking demonstrate clearly that medicinal plants believed to have strong antidiabetic viability in atherogenic slinked rats are part of the disclosure of contemporary home-grown formulations with antidiabetic characteristics. The main inquiry is usually regarding the anti-diabetic effects of the natural product Terminalia coriacea and Epipremnum pinnatum leaf combined. The findings indicate the need for support in investigating the plants in question and the recognized evidence of bioactive chemicals.
