Indian advertising Promotions in the country are too big for any reactive system to be effective. Specifically, each case is treated as independent and thus is open to the difference in interpretation. And considering the volume of Service and product ads, the regulatory mechanism has to be proactive. Impressive advertisements filed before the consumer courts today are mostly filed by those who are directly affected by such advertisements and have suffered financial loss.
