| Abstract: | In this paper a weight operated material handling device (WOMHD) is designed and fabricated. A WOMHD is a kind of weight operated material handling device which does not require any external source of energy for its operation. That is a weight can be transferred from one place to another without using any external source of energy. A mathematical relation is also derived between various variables. This helps us to understand the variation of different variables on the performance of WOMHD. Experiments are performed on the machine and a graph is plotted between theoretical and practical values after getting the data from the experiment. |
