| Abstract: | The paper aimed to present a profitability analysis based on ratio method in order to evaluate the financial performance at SAA AB ENGINEERING PVT LTD. Based on the data collected from the balance sheet and profit and loss account concluded in 2021. The following ratios have been determined: gross profit margin, operating profit margin and net profit margin, return on assets, return on capital employed. The obtained results have shown that the profitability of the company has registered an increased slightly in trend in the year 2021 compared to the level recorded in the year 2020 due to the pandemic situation, which is a positive aspect of a good management of material and labour resources. The various tools used for a ratio analysis, comparative balance sheet, common size balance sheet. |
