Random sampling technique was used to select 30 samples from BS.c Nursing 1st year student from Integral institute of nursing sciences and research. The conceptual frame work of the present study was based on Karl Ludwig Von Bertlanffy’s General system theory. Initially researcher got permission for study from concern authorities. The obtained value of paired t test was 6.226 which was higher than table value 2.64 at 0.05 level of significance, hence null hypothesis was rejected and research hypothesis was accepted, i.e. Structured teaching program on knowledge regarding needle stick injury was effective among nursing students.
