Abstract: A 60 years of age male who is a known case of Diabetes, Dyslipidemia and Bronchial Asthma presented to the OPD with complaints of Left eye Ptosis followed by Difficulty in swallowing and generalized body pain and tiredness. Electromyography done-Facial muscles such as Nasalis, Orbicularis oculi and Orbicularis oris were tested. Decremental response on repeated nerve stimulation detected. Ach receptor antibody tested showed – 1.42 nmol/L. Edrophonium test showed improvement of the ptosis. All tests were in favor of Neuromuscular Junction disorder. Patient was started on T. GRAVITOR on regular basis. Patient showed overall improvement . Hence, this study shows that Myasthenia Gravis can present with Unilateral Ptosis which all Physicians should be aware of.
