Abstract: An exploration of a hot water spring Tatapani (HWST) was done at an atmospheric temperature 29 degrees C. The geographic position of HWST is 230 69I N latitude, 830 661E longitude and 461.00-meter altitude. The temperature of HWST was measured and its thermoelectricity was studied. The scope of hydrothermal power generation is studied A water sample was collected in sterilized thermos flasks. Hydrophytes were collected from the pond made by HWST and identified. The soil chemistry of HWST is discussed.,
