In India, as there are many seismic zones ranging from II to V and some of the places like Bhuj, Darbhanga, Guwahati, Imphal ,etc come under high seismic zone V. So it becomes necessary that our structure resists the lateral forces formed due to earthquake and wind. For resisting such lateral forces providing bracing is the best solution. So in this we have prepared a model of G+15 structure, and we have taken the Seismic Zone-V ,Soil type-I and X-bracing is used. In these we have obtained results for storey drift, storey displacement, storey shear and overturning moment by using ETABS.
