The condenser is one of the primary components of the Mettur thermal power plant, which chills the refrigerant. Cold water is converted to hot water when the refrigerant is cooled. The cooling towers bring the hot water's temperature down. When hot water enters the cooling tower with induced draught and is sprayed by the nozzles, it becomes cold water. How well water is cooled is influenced by the temperatures of the dry and wet bulbs, as well as by the cooling tower's size, height, and air velocity. This project's performance inquiry and analysis focus on the induced draught cooling tower, one of the key factors used to raise a power plant's efficiency.
