Abstract: The soil health card (SHC) is an analysis of the quality of the soil right from its functional characteristics to water and nutrient content and other biological properties. It contains corrective measure that a farmer should adopt to obtain a better yield. The present study was conducted in Rewari district of Haryana regarding Impact of Soil Health Card Scheme towards the productivity and soil health. The study also analyses the impact of adoption of soil testing technology and recommended doses of fertilizer (on the basis of soil health card) on crop productivity, production cost and soil health. Interview schedule consisted of three parts. The first part consisted of primary information of the respondents i.e., respondent number, name, village and mandal. The second part consisted of profile characteristics of the respondents and third part consisted of the dependent variables i.e., impact towards soil health card. Farmers were also asked to elicit the benefits and problems they faced in utilizing the soil health cards and were asked to give their suggestions which they think will improve the situations. The data were collected and recorded in free and frank atmosphere where the interviewer and interviewee had a good rapport. The majority of beneficiaries were found to have medium level of Impact about various components of soil health card followed by low and high level of Impact about various components of soil health card.
