Abstract
Outer space is a lively and spectacular area of study and research, yet it plays a very silent role, having a deeper impact and making the entire humanity dependent on it. Though a large portion of the world's population is becoming dependent on space-based services, many are unaware of the benefits they are receiving. Outer space began as a simple study and research project. Now, the dynamics have shifted, and we use outer space for a variety of purposes in our daily lives.
In the modern era, we have started to view space from a different angle. From space exploration to space exploitation, we have been exploiting it recently. As soon as space exploration began, regulations were established to address that specific situation. International space law conventions and treaties governed all activities in outer space. Few states have national space laws of their own, which will help with implementation and regulation.
With numerous activities in study, development, scientific research, and steadily expanding commercial activity have contributed to the expansion in different areas of space. Without a law to control them, commercial activities are expanding. The only factor that has such sway over all aspects of life, including space, is law. But attention must be paid to developments in space. The laws that we have been abiding by for so long cannot keep up with all the recent advances.
This study attempts to present a few new difficulties that are gallivanting about in outer space without any restriction on them in the context of current international space law.
