Ultraviolet (UV)-mediated photoreaction and photo-oxidation damage the skin, which can be prevented by using sunscreens as photo protective agents. The present research work deals with the formulation development and evaluation of novel fruit-based sunscreen preparation contain antioxidant, antiacne, premature aging, and ability to absorb UV radiation in the range between 290-320nm. Due to their efficiency and the satisfaction that even after regular use, herbal extracts in cosmetic products do not have any negative side effects. The formulation of the sunscreen gel and their evaluation were the focus of the current investigation. Cactaceae-related dragon fruit (Hylocereus spp.) is one of the tropical fruits found in Malaysia. fruit consists of a high content of betacyanin pigment, which is responsible for the absorption of red-violet color. Additionally, compared to other fruit parts, the peel has the highest antioxidant properties. These items contain micro-beads as an ingredient for several reasons. This includes using them as bulking agents, abrasives or exfoliants (to remove dead skin cells from the skin's surface), to manage the timing of the release of active substances, or to extend shelf life.
