Molecular docking is abundantly utilized compactization phenomenon in the field of computer aided drug design (CADD). It helpful in academic as well as pharmaceutical industry for innovation of a novel lead discovery. Molecular docking depends on the two phenomena: ligand and protein where protein is a target site and ligand gives attachment to that protein. This system gives study of affinity of ligand and protein, approach of drug towards the specific pharmacological activity for specific drug moiety. In this article explore the knowledge about molecular docking types, new systems of molecular docking, and various approaches of new docking systems, which helpful for the understand the concept of molecular docking. In the journey of drug discovery molecular docking gives major role for determine various pharmacological activity of newly synthesized or previously synthesized drug moiety. Also give numerical data for drug and its activity which helpful for the various novel drug discovery.
