| Abstract: | ABSTRACT: Aims and objectives: This study is conducted to assess knowledge, attitude and practices of engineers in Pune city. Materials and Methods: It is a cross-sectional study conducted among 240 engineers in Pune. A questionnaire was generated which consist of 28 multiple choice questions to assess their knowledge, attitude and practices towards the oral health. Results: Among 240 engineers 48.8% of them think that oral health and overall health are interconnected. 56.1% spends 1-2 minutes daily on brushing. 63.5% notice tooth decay with black spot and hole in the tooth and 59.5% think routine dental check-up should be done after every 6 month. Conclusion: This study provided a thorough evaluation of the knowledge, attitudes, and practices amongst engineers in Pune city. By placing more focus on oral health ,we can help individuals to maintain good oral health. |
