Abstract: Green gram occupies one of the prominent pulse crop cultivated in india. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replications. Different treatment comprising of T1 (CaCl2 1%), T2 (KNO3 0.5%), T3 (KNO3 1%), T4(GA3 25 mg/l), T5 (GA3 50 mg/l), T6 (GA3 100 mg/l), T7 (NAA 25 mg/l), T8 (NAA 50 mg/l), T9 (NAA 100 mg/l) and T10 (control). At 30 days after sowing different plant growth regulators and chemicals were sprayed as a foliar application of the different treatments. The result indicate of indicates that the growth parameters, like plant height (12.38, 26.80, 34.47 and 44.49 cm), number of branches (3.94, 6.87, 8.59 and 9.04), of plant were significantly higher under the foliar application of GA3@ 25 mg/l as compared to control at 30, 45, 60 DAS growth stages and at harvest respectively. Similar trend was also observed in case of physiological parameters, significantly higher leaf area was recorded with the treatment GA3@ 25 mg/l (195.33,388.28, 554.69 and 386.69 cm2) at different growth phase of 30, 45, 60 DAS and at harvest. Results of the experiment shows that RGR and NAR were decreased towards the maturity. Early flowering was recorded in GA3 25 mg/l at 35 days while minimum days to maturity (71.59 days) was recorded in the same treatment.
