Abstract: In 2019, the pandemic affected the quality of life of healthcare workforces who are at the front lines of treating COVID-19 patients. The study aimed to evaluate the factors influencing the QoL among nursing officers during their COVID-19 postings at Era Hospital, Lucknow. A semi-structured questionnaire on the Likert scale was prepared, and these questionnaires were distributed to 385 respondents, which was determined with the help of Cochran's (1977), out of which 310 responses were received from respondents, data from 232 respondents has been considered for the study who accurately filled the questionnaire. The data analyzed the relationship between (QoL) Quality of Life and (JS) Job Satisfaction among nursing officers. The results indicated a mild negative correlation (r = -0.180, p = 0.006), implying that a decline in job satisfaction is associated with a modest decrease in QoL. The regression study showed that QoL had a substantial impact on Occupational well-being (b = 0.851, p < 0.005, R2 = 0.724), thereby confirming the hypothesis. An analysis was conducted to assess the influence of the COVID-19 crisis on Occupational well-being, revealing a notable negative impact (b = -0.140, p = 0.033, R2 = 0.020), suggesting detrimental implications on many well-being components. Future studies should investigate strategies and policies designed to reduce the adverse effects of the COVID-19 crisis on the well-being of healthcare personnel worldwide.
