Abstract: This quantitative study explored the interplay between energy transition and green economics as pathways to achieving a sustainable energy future. A structured questionnaire was employed to gather data from a convenient sample of 480 energy professionals. The survey, conducted through Google Forms over a specified study period, employed data filtering techniques to ensure data quality. The study employed Smart-PLS as the quantitative technique for analysis. Key constructs, including Energy Transition, Green Economics, and the Adoption of Sustainable Energy, served as dependent and independent variables in the research model. Preliminary findings revealed a positive and significant relationship between Energy Transition and the Adoption of Sustainable Energy and between Green Economics and the same outcome. The results contributed to a nuanced understanding of the dynamics shaping sustainable energy practices among energy professionals. The implications of this study extend to policy considerations for energy professionals, providing insights into the efficacy of energy transition initiatives and the role of green economic principles in fostering sustainable energy adoption. The research contributed valuable empirical evidence to inform strategic decision-making for a sustainable and resilient energy future.
Keywords: Energy Transition, Green Economics, Sustainable Energy, Climate Change, Environmental Drivers, Economic Benefits, Renewable Energy, Circular Economy.
