Now-a-days baby diaper have been used every day by babies all over the world. Which is mostly made of non-sustainable material which affect the skin and that are not safe for kids to use To alter that we made a diaper with the bamboo and cotton blended fiber. The bamboo fiber is naturally antimicrobial, which helps to prevent the growth of bacteria. The characterization of baby diapers made from the different composition, namely bamboo/cotton (70/30).Superabsorbent polymer (SAP) sodium polyacrylate has been incorporated into the diaper to enhance their absorption capacity. Since these natural antibacterial agents are less toxic, less irritant, and biodegradable they can be used as an antibacterial finish for baby diaper. Herbal plant like centella asiatica extract for antimicrobial finishing in diaper because of the excellent antimicrobial and eco-friendly properties which prevent from the rashes and itching, exhibited by them various tests such as PH level, absorption capacity, have been carried out to study the performance of the diaper. This diaper holds up to 6-7 hrs.
