Education is the foundation required in development of every constructive version of human being. As we grow up, first step which decides our sustainability into society is higher education. Higher education makes each person capable to sustain himself in competitive world. The National Education Policy 2020 has played a crucial role for nurturing potential of human being in education sector. To balance social and economic fabric of our country education is the best tool we could ever ask for. UNESCO has given The Global Education 2030 Agenda. Under this there are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be completed by 2030. [1] Education is goal 4, which aims to ‘ensure inclusive and equitable quality of education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’. For this, we need to have a look at recent growth and development ongoing in higher education in India. Recently All India Survey of higher Education report 2020-2021 has been published by Ministry of Education. This report is comprehensive and has brought out many new interesting insights on growth and development of higher education sector in India. This research paper is based on secondary data which has been taken from various government reports on higher education. This research paper has focused on its attributes and their development in higher education sector. To sustain and compete in this society excellence and quality are two important attributes in Education sector. For giving Higher Education to all its Equity, Accessibility and Affordability is always taken into consideration. Above triangular approach for higher education has to be implemented in all institutions across the globe. This study will be useful for higher education institutions to improve their performance.
