The airport management system links and integrates the airport electronic data through the greatest flow of information for security, management and operations. The facilities of this system are continuously evolving. In this study, the passport verification system is re-curated using tesseract, pytesseract, in order to enhance the security, devoid of any discrepancies and possible human error. The unique passport number is matched to the database and upon capturing the facial image of the passport holder, it is matched with the photo on the passport. This is done using OpenCV. A food ordering system is also implemented using MongoDB to give the passengers an option to pre-book a meal for their upcoming flights. Other functionalities provided by the system include flight booking system, updation of airport staff on the aircraft as well as the ground staff, and an admin login for the overall supervision. The proposed system is anticipated to increase efficiency of the security and provide better, smoother facilities to the passengers.
